Scrap of assembled material, reuse of components

Hello Experts,

I need a solution for following situation.

We have assembled material that has been produced a pretty long period ago. The production order is completed and it is not possible to post

a 262 or 102 to the production order anymore.

Now the assembled material needs to become scraped and the components of the material need to be taken into stock again.

What do You think is the most proper solution?

Dear,

Yes this can be handle by rework order without material through CO07.

Create rework order here add one dummy operation for scrap and then add your scrap Assembly in component list in positive quantity and other component as by-product inside the order with negative quantity also active backflsuh tick mark for all these components.

Use the settelemnt rule as Order ORD and assign original order number here.

When you do the confirmation Assembly will get consumed with 261 movement and other components will come out from order with 531 movement.

So assembled material  become scrapped and the components of the materials  will be taken into stock again and cab be  reused.
