262 Reversal of Goods Issue against process order

Hello Guys,

I would like to know is any std sap that calculates Next inspection date when we do goods issue reversal (262) against process order. It seems like batch record has been updated by calculating the next inspection ( date of goods issue reversal + inspection interval (Raw material) ) date.

As far as I know NID calculates only at the time of GR(date of manf + inspection interval) but it is very strage that NID calculates based on GI reversal date+Inspection interval and updates the batch record.

Any clue ?

Regards,

Mahee

Logically when you reverse the GR ,system should modify the NID.

First time NID : date of manf + inspection interval

Every next time GR date + inspection interval

When GR reference dat id not exists ,then system should calculate NID based on date of mfg calculation which is what happening !

Thanks for your responses.

Sujit - So is this a std SAP functionality then ? Whenever we do Goods issue reversal thru 262, NID will be re-calculated again based on the GR reversal date ?

If yes, is there any config that can prevent this or workaround option is to go change the batch record every time to old NID.

Please advise

As I understand its std process.

I am not sure why exactly you are not looking for change in LDD after 262 (  logically it should get reverese) ,

but if you want LLD to remain same then use exit QEVA0003 Calculate "Next inspection date" for batch

Build your own logic !
