Hi all,
I'm customizing a dynamic product proposal in SD basic functions.
After all configurations, the system pops up the correct materials, according to the function modules in the acces sequence.
I'm having trouble understanding the meaning of the Exclusion FM (SD_DPP_EXCLUSION).
If there is an exclusion list, it is not possible to put the excluded materials in the order. So why is there a function module that prevents the materials entering the order? How does this function module work?
Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks,
MVP
Dear Miguel,
Please go through these links, hope it might give you some idea on use of function modules:-

Thanks for your reply Sambit.
I'm trying to understand how does the SD_DPP_EXCLUSION function module work for Dynamic product proposal, and not how function modules work.
I know how all other dynamic product proposal related function modules work.
SD_DPP_LISTING, SD_DPP_HISTORY, SD_DPP_PRODUCT_PROPOSAL and SD_DPP_CUSTOMER_MATERIAL_INFO are working fine.
My question is, why would you want to use a function module (Exclusion) to exclude materials when the simple exclusion list (txVB01) already prevents you from entering a material? From my point of view, there is no need to create a dynamic product proposal with the exclusion function.
What am I missing here?
Thanks
