SUP - RS - SAP : network ports used

Former Member

Hi everyone,

I would like to have a confirmation of the communication ports that must have to be open.

Here is my settings :

Between Device and RS ( External RS address ) :

80

Between RS and SUP ( Internal RS address ) :

80

Between SUP and SAP (all open because it's the same domain) :

all open

Between Development Laptop and SUP :

8282, 8283

Questions :

A. Is my configuration correct ? If no what I'm missing ?

B. Are the ports 2480 and 5001 unused in the case of using a RS ? Is it correct ?

I would like to have a complete configuration of what have to be open. It could be useful for others too.

Thanks,

Fab

In between RS and SUP the ports which are used are 2480 and 5001

Between Developement laptop and SUP 2480 and 5001 and 8443 is required to access SCC

Thank you Srinivas, my network settings are OK now. It's complicated in my company, I have to ask to open ports one by one and justify why.

Hi Fabien,

It's the same every where, that is the reason it is not advised to expose SUP to public internet directly and that's why we need a relay server as an entry point
