How to update appended fields in KNA1 table using cmd_ei_api=>maintain

I have extended the table KNA1 with custom fields now i want to update the data for these fields using

  cmd_ei_api=>maintain can anyone please help me. Because we cannot update the master table directly.

You, at least need to extend structure CMDS_EI_VMD_CENTRAL_DATA and CMDS_EI_VMD_CENTRAL_DATA_XFLAG

Otherwise, no hope !!

If you need ot implement your own logic to check and handle your custom fields, you may look to enhancement spot CUSTOMER_EXTENSION.

The requirement is that I have to update values for appended fields in KNA1 and that too from my RFC.
