Follow up process after BI and ECC system copy

Hi,

We have refreshed our both ECC and BI Quality system with respective ti their production system using export/import. Now we are facing problem to intgrate both quality systems. We need action checklist need to be performed in both systems.

Appreciate if you can share your valuable inputs in this regard.

Hi  Satyabrat,

Have you already run BDLS for the logical system name conversion ?

In ECC, you need to run BLDS for both ECC and BI logical system name conversion and same needs to be done in the BI system as well.

As mentioned by Kishan in earlier post, the OSS note Note 886102 - System Landscape Copy for SAP NetWeaver BW has steps for the BW integration specific activities after system copes involving BW.

Below is a general checklist of follow-up activities to be done after system copy :

- Apply SAP license

- Upgrade Kernel patches if required

- Adjust profile parameters

- Adjust SAP standard and other relevant background jobs

- Adjust Operation modes if defined or required

- Adjust RFC connections

- Adjust the TMS configuration
- Run 'SGEN"
