Rollout Impact Analysis List

Dear All,

Two Companies, say Company A in Country 1 and Company B in Country 2, already running on SAP.

Now, both have decided to come within one instance, but as seperate entities and, Company B will follow Country A's business processes (only differ on Legal and statutory requiremensts).

Now, I have to analyse the Impact on both Companies due to this.

1. Impact on Company A

2. Impact on Company B

Hints:

Please mindful that Company A and Company B, both are already running on SAP, seperately; and after rollout, Company B will move in Company A's instance, and will follow exisiting functionalities and processes.

Now, analyze impacts, such as:

1. Serial Number Profile:

Currently, Company A uses Serial Number Profile for Materials,whereas, Company B is not; but when Company B will also be in same instance and will share same Master Data, will it be compulsory for Company B to enter Serial No. (in S.O. and PGI)? or is there some way by which same material can be used as "Serialized Material" for one company and "Non-serialized" for another compnay?

2. Customer Account Groups:

If, there is one common Customer for Company A and Compnay B, but currently Company A is using this customer with Account Group, say 0001 - Domestic, but Company B wants same Customer with another account group, say 0002 - Trade. Is it possible?

3. Number Ranges - Sales Doc, Cutomer Master, Billing Doc

What are all other such points to consider?
