Hi,
When i am executing CJI3 Report- I am getting "Controlling area does not exist" as ERROR for a certain control area.
Usually when we execute CJ13 report- an pop-up box comes which ask for a control area and if you fill wrong Control area then it says "Controlling area does not exist"….
But in my case It doesn’t even give me an option of selecting a different controlling area and directly I am getting error pop-up box saying "Controlling area does not exist".
Please tell me why this is happening? I am sending you Su53 error details alos, please find screen shot as attachment

Thanks Sir for your reply...
but When I am entering CJI3 T.CODE and pressing enter I am getting this error "Controlling area does not exist" in a pop-up.
It doesn’t even give me an option of selecting a different controlling area or to do any chane on the screen and directly I am getting error pop-up box saying "Controlling area does not exist".
Hi Roshan,
Go to SU3 (or System->User profile->Own data) i.e Your own users setting.
Check what value is maintained for Parameter ID 'CAC' i.e for Controlling area.
If value of controlling area is set which is not existing in the system, you will get an error like
" Controlling area does not exist" when executing CJI3
Follow steps mentioned below.
1. In SU3, under parameter id # CAC, maintain value of controlling area which is existing in the system.
2. Save user parameters.
3. Execute CJI3 transaction
I just tried to replicate this in my test system and it works.
Please try this.
