Problem reg deploying web dynpros.

Hi

i am getting this error while deplying my application.

Feb 19, 2007 11:25:46 AM /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[001]Deployment aborted

Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !

pls help.

i tried cofiguring in windows->prefrences->Sap J2EE engine i have entered my server ip address and message server port as 3601

Hai,

open J2ee Engine View(nwds>window>showView--> J2ee Engine).

see all the nodes are appearing in green colour or not.

check the message server port . its depend on sid .

thank you but it says not applicable under remote engine. i have entered the right Ip only. how to set right it. how to check my sid and message port .... where to see the details

You can find the information . about to find the info about message server port .

go to this location -->

c:\usr\sap\j2e\jc(instId)\j2ee\cluster\instance.properties

find the strings

instance.ms.host="server ip"

instance.ms.port="port id"
