Multiple Specifications are used when the same material needs to be inspected by different standards like; Pharmacoepial/country specific/Regulatory/customer requirements. For example: If the same paracetamol is to be exported to USA: you need USP standard to be followed and the material to be inspected as per USP specs (even the name of Paracetamol is different in USA: Acetaminophen). Particularly in selection of a suitable batch, this concept of Multiple specs is very useful.
You can use the specification required, for each characteristic, during Results Recording (for valuation of characteristic). Ultimately, this can be used for creation of an Outgoing Quality Certificate generation. Please see the following useful links for more information:

Hi Pragalathan,
I think you have not ticked on Material Specification in Material master--> Quality View-->inspection setup-->Detail information on inspection type--> Insp with material Specification.
Please check.

1. Create a material-only assignment for the inspection plan.
2. Create the required object assignments for the multiple specifications.
