Sourcing Buyer not able to login through email ID

Hi All,

The sourcing buyer is not able to login with email ID. However, with the user ID the login is successful.

During creation of the user ID, the "Use E-Mail address for login" checkbox was checked.

What could be the reason for buyer not able to login through email id?

Please provide helpful inputs for the issue.

How is the directory configuration setup for authentication?

Hi Tejas,

I don't believe you can use email id as user id when you are using NW UME.

Just wanted to know if there is any way out to achieve this with the configuration that we have?

by the way I also wanted to know the functionality and significance of the checkbox "Use E-Mail address for login"  in Internal User properties tab in sourcing.

the "User E-Mail adress for login" checkbox can't be used with NW UME.

For this setting of login using Email Address to work, what should be the Driver in directory settings?
