Hello experts,

We are facing issues while running transaction SPROXY in our application system. On running the t-code, it is prompting to enter user-id/pwd.

What can be the issue here ?

Regards,

Monika

Hi ,

Reason could be , the RFC destination which you have configured in your application system to PI might not contain proper authentication .

You should use communication user ( like PIAPPLUSER  ) . You should check  both connection test like remote and connection .

Pls check

Hi ,

These are  TCP - Java services LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI .

Please check the user you have used ( In SAP Application system - RFC destination  )  is locked or not in SAP PI system (SU01 ) .

Hi Monika,

This issue should be because of the user you are using it in the destination SAP_PROXY_ESR in ECC  system. User present in the logon & security tab should be available in the PI System with necessary authorization.

Also do Connection Test from SPROXY Transaction.

Please refer the below page for more details,

Hi Monika,

Just check RFC connection user id is locked , there might be a recent change in the pwd or it is locked. check if pwds are maintained correctly.

Hello everyone,

The user is not locked. But, when we run transaction SPROXY, it prompts to enter user-id/pwd.

Can it be that the Exchange Profile data is not maintained ? I do not have admin access, so will have to ask someone to check this who have got the

authorizations. But, need to confirm from your end also. Following is the result from SLDCHECK,it is not retreiving the exchange profile parameters, though the connection LCRSAPRFC works properly.

Thanks,

Monika

Dear Monika,

Check the link below which is answered for the same issue and also check the note below.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for your replies.

The issue was that password for user PIAPPLUSER in the exchange profile was not correctly maintained. After updating the password, SPROXY is working perfectly.

Thanks,

Monika
