Unable to make the fields as mandatory in shipment doc

Hi

1. We need make 'Special processing indicator' filed as mandatory in shipment document.

I have created a  variant for RV56ABST (activity profile ) and assigned for shipment document type in below path for planning.

LE-->Transportation-->Shipments-->Define and Assign Activity Profiles.

However I am able to save the document without spl process indicator, and also allowing to complete the planning..... shipment end also.

2. New partner function:We have two partners Service agent(Middle men) and Air Carrier(Lufthansa, Quatar, etc..), Service agent mapped with 'FwdAgent', for Air Carrier purpose defined new partner type and added in partner determination role and selected the partner function as mandatory. But still without entering partner function system allowing to save the document.

How to make these fields as mandatory pl help me.

As per note 740989, following are the activities that can be executed within Shipment processing by Activity Profiles

• Posting Goods issue.
• Generating Customer bills.
• Creation of delivery items for handling units.
• Execution of output.

This means, you will have to try with Function Module SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_SET

Give this Function Module to your ABAPer and tell the logic with the table / field names.
