Check if the new OS is compatible with SAP kernel release and Oracle database version from the SAP PAM (http://service.sap.com/pam)
Make sure you stop all sap and db processes before you upgrade the OS.
Backup files and directories /etc/services, /etc/hosts, /etc/security/limits, /home/<sid>adm, /etc/oratab ,/etc/oraInst.loc (for Oracle) to be on the safe side.
If you are using Oracle as the database , please relink all oracle binaries/libraries after OS upgrade.
Login as ora<sid>
# relink all

Ratnajit,
Thank you for the quick reply, Your information is helpful.
OS upgrade was successful in SANDBOX now planning to go for entire landscape, As it was on EEC 6 we did some post check like SICK, st22 etc.
Now planning for BI & PI landscape, Once the sap is up and running, What all tasks to be performed from BI & PI point of view to make sure there are no issues, as we did in ECC 6 system like SICK, st22 etc, after the Os-upgrade.
Thanks
