PI Sender File Scenario

Hello All,

We have a simple scenario where we have to read a file called abc.txt with data as a follows

name place age

John    US   48

Jill       US   35

and map it to a zero to unbounded items structure with the file name as one of the columns

Item 1

abc

John

US

48

Item 2

abc

Jill

US

35

Can this be done in PI using File Adapter ?

Hi,

All you need to do for retrieving the file name is to enable ASMA Property of File adapter (File name)..

and the file name can be read at mapping user DynamicConfiguration property..

searching SDN will definitely provide you the needed info..and your scenario is very simple and can be acheived easily..

This is very much possible,

SEARCH IN SCN for sender file adapter content conversion , you can easily find many docs.

you can do it through the content conversion on file sender adapter.
