pointing universe from IDT to Hana

Hello,

I have a universe that l convert from uni to unx in idt.

Data is already loaded in Hana, now l want  point these unx to the data in Hana

How do l go about it .. Please help.

Hi Vivak,

I am not an expert in BO, but based on my experimental activities in IDT, I think you need to have the connection shortcut (.cns) in IDT from CMS or Relational connection to HANA database (under SAP -> HANA Database 1.0).

Once you have the connection, you'd be able to map the HANA objects.

I might be very wrong here as I mentioned that my knowledge on IDT is currently very limited.

I have created the connection to HANA DB now ready to map the HANA object

Do you know how to map the object ..

Hi,

Once you have a connection to your HANA server using either ODBC or JDBC you will be able to add your tables as if you were pointing to a conventional database. If I am not mistaken you will not be able to point to an analytic view currently.

Hi Michael,

I have made the connections

but how to l check that data is flowing into the universe

when lm checking row in the unx l get an error

please help, this unx org._ex has table with data loaded to hana, but data is not flowing through it

this is the screen shot of the table

please can you send me step on how to do this with some screen shot.

I have resolve the issue. I deleted the BEGIN_SQL value and END_SQL values and it works..
