How to avoid displaying the System id concatenation with the SPM info objects in SPM3.0 SP2

Hi Experts,

We have some fields which are displaying along with the system id concatenation however the customer requirement is not to display that in the report. could some one help us how to get rid of this in the report.

For ex: In UI we defing the system for ex: ECD and System ID H1 (automatically genetes in SPM UI) and for the material 12345_H1 is the value displaying in the SPM reports. Now the customer want to see only 12345 but not the _H1.

Is this how it'll be displayed as part of Standard or can we remove this system ID concatenation. If at all we want to remove how and what is the impact of this removal. Could some one help us in this regard.

Hi Amarnath,

As Namuburi mentioned, it needs to be changed in OPMDM_TYPES - but this needs to be done before you have loaded any data into SPM.

If you already have data, then this change will not affect any future data loads and not the existing data as the concatenation has already taken place for existing data. In that case you will have to clear all your data, change this setting and reload all the data.

Secondly, if you have multiple source systems and you have same product ID in multiple systems, then removing the concatenation will introduce ambiguity as you will not be able to identify a particular spend against the system.

Please make material as souce system independent in table OPMDM_TYPES.
