SRM contract enhancement not saving data

Hi experts,

I have done enhancement on contract screen by adding new subview  named additional information under header Tab.

Problem is, if i enter some data and saved & close it.

If I again open the same contract the data is not available in the screen. It’s not getting saved.

Even I check it in change BADI & check BADI  the data is not populating... How to transfer by value to the standard?

Hi Chinnaiya,

There are a lot of steps that goes in creating an additional tab be it on header or item. For starting you must add the z fields to the item basic data or header structure only then it behaves the same way as that of standard fields with respect to edit and display mode.
