Special Costs in Results Analysis

Hello Guys,

We create different line ID's in *DEFINE LINE ID's* step to capture different costs which are then assigned to different RA categories like E revenues, K costs in *Define Update of Results Analysis step*. one such category id *D* assigned to line ID say VV.

Now total planned cost calculated in RA execution is 80000 which is say EK = 20000 FK = 40000 GK = 20000 VV = 20000, which means it is not taking into account VV line ID values. Any particular reason? Is it because VV is assigned to category D?

Thanks in advance.

regards

Sunny

If you check category D, it states clearly the purpose.

It says that, neither WIP nor reserves can be created for this cost categroy. If actual costs are incurred for this category, they are charged directly to the cost of sales. Packaging costs and shipping costs are examples of special costs.

I hope above explanation helps you
