Communication Error CPIC rc=20 SAP rc=236

Hello,

We had SAP running on this application server and then switch hostname/ip address and now get the error message above. In SM51 from the central instance the server is visible but double clicking on the entry does nothing. If I double click on another host, SM51 and double click on host that was switched it works. It's not working from the Central Instance only??

Any ideas to what to look at?

/etc/hosts

uname -a

Created new RFC connection to host, it fails as well.

Hi Christopher,

Check /etc/services on the application server(s). Also look into the instance profiles on both sides.
