Additional tab in the template generated by GRFN_MDUG

Hi All,

I am completely new to this SAP GRC. Pls help as I need to add some custom fields and tabs to template generated by GRFN_MDUG.

1. How to add a new field in 'Policy' tab?

     a. Added a new field to the cluster 'GRFNVC_FLD'.

     b. It is reflected in the 'policy' tab of template.

Do i need to include this filed anywhere else? What are all the DB tables that store 'Policy' related data? 

2. Can we add a custom tab to the template?

Hi,

Did you enter any values in the Resp Org field of the system generated template and then uploaded it?

Hi,

When i am trying to create policy from portal screen, there will be F4 help for 'Responsible Organization' field.

But same F4 help is not available in the template generated from the tcode GRFN_MDUG.

Thanks for the reply.

I am able to get records only in DB table : GRFNPOLICYVER -(DB table for policy version information in). Remaining tables are empty..

GRFNDMPO-Policy

GRFNDMPOT-Policy Text, these table are empty.. no records are available.

Do we need to add any additional logic after adding field in cluster 'GRFNVC_FLD'.

Any input on point 2. Can we add a custom tab to the template?

Hi

Steps to add customer fields in the MDUG

1. Open view cluster GRFNVC_FLD using T-Code SM34.

  2. Select a CDF field whose name should be in customer namespace.

3.Select Maintain HR field information, and then maintain infotype and Field name.

4.Choose entity which the CDF is used for

5.Select Entity and Field Assignment and add the CDF here, make sure that the position is     larger than the position of standard fields.

6.Generate the excel template again and use the new template to maintain data.

I am actually able to add custom filed in 'Policy' tab with the procedure given by you.

Do in need to add that field some where else? Like append structure of any DB table? How and where does that value stored in DB?

Hi,

The view cluster that is used to add the fields is using the following views.

GRFNV_REGFLD

GRFNV_FLDRGSP

GRFNV_FLDLCHG

GRFNV_FLDHR

GRFNV_FLDGRP

GRFNV_FLDDB

GRFNV_FLD

GRFNV_ENTFLD

GRFNV_APPFLD

You can check these views and the tables they are created over .

Additionally, its not possible to add custom tabs.
