Inspection lot creation/GR into Q-stock despite Inspection Skip for Certified Vendors

Dear,

I experience a problem with Inspection Skip for Certified Vendors.

Despite my settings, SAP creates an Inspection lot and puts the goods into Q-stock after I post GR.

I followed SAP's documentation making my settings;

Note we are on ERP 6.0

My settings are:

MATERIAL:

- (standard) Inspection type 01 is active; Skips allowed is set active.

- QM in procurement is set active

- QM Control key is set as 0000 (No active functions, info message)

-Target QM system is set as 9001 (ISO 9001, with certificate)

VENDOR:

- Actual QM system is set as 1299 (ISO 9001, with cert., skip), valid thru 31.12.9999

In customizing Actual QM system 1299 is flagged with the Certified QM System - Skip-indicator (V_TQ02B-QSSYSZERT = X) and assigned to Target QM system 9001.

Any idea why SAP creates an Inspection lot and puts the goods into Q-stock after I post GR despite these settings?

Have I missed something?

Very interesting..

As I know, all your settings are correct, SAP should not generate an inspection lot for certified vendor.

To make sure..

Did you check "Status GR Doc." in material document which was created when GR.

It should be "3" (QM system certified for the vendor/manuf. (no insp. lot)).

And did you check "QA Control Key" in purchase order"?

It should be "0000".

If not, please check the vendor and material master again carefully.

HI Bart jongen,

      Please check the selection option of inspection control as " X NO inspection" in inspection Control tape of Quality info record (Qi01), With material vendor combination.

  If u keep these option for particular Vendor & material, While doing the GR stock move to unrestricted location  with moment of 101 even if u maintain & active the  01 inspection type.
