Ios or Android Mobile Simulator

Hi,

Is there any simulator available for IOS or Android ,I want to try out the reports inside the simulator.

Hi Shai,

we tried to use Android simulator 2.3,but after providing the necessary parameters we are facing an error message "The server version is not supported by the application : contact your administrator (MOB08007) "

Environment : BO4.0 SP2 (14.0.2.364)

Hello Rajasekar,

You need BI 4.0 SP02 Fix Pack 14 or above to use Android Devices along with BO Mobile.

As Denis mentioned, Google has an android emulator with the SDK. For a certain support issue SAP support asked me to try and recreate the problem on the emulator, however I was never able to get the application to run correctly. Eventually it ran without images and with frequent disconnections. It will be interesting to hear if someone gets it to work.

You'll also need the apk installation file for the application, as Google play isn't available for the emulator. I can't seem to find the most recent version on the SAP support portal, but here's BI Mobile 4.0.5 for the Android:

I'm not aware of any Apple simulators on non apple OS'ses , but Android simulators are available from google with their SDK.
