Subitem elimination in Rule based ATP

Hi SCM Gurus,

There are various posting on this subject. Final answer is NO, we can't eliminate.

But one of the posting they have mentioned about a new flag "Merge subitems" in check instructions in SCM 7.02. I am thinking this can do our required functionaity. But we are still on SCM 7.0. Has any one used this?

Yes, but that is possible in case of same plant procurement, if your location is different, you will have sub items.
