            i know we can create Delivery with reference to sales order and with out reference to sales order but i want to know when we create delivery with out reference to sales order..

In case of sample goods or gifts to employee or something like this, some time we dont need to create any sales order directly we can create delviery with VL01NO and then do proforma invoice wrf to delivery...

Before doing all this u should ensure that copy control setup has bee done properly...
