Hello experts,
is it possible to transfer the stock from one batch, where the stock is in qi, to another batch but keep the stock in qi (in the new batch!)?
And if this is possible what happens to the inspection lot of the old batch?
Any help would be really much appreciated
Best regards
Daniel
As I understand ,you can do 309 mvt type from MB1B,but issue here is its possible to do (in the new batch!) from QI/unrestricted to unrestricted & not to QI.
You have to put material from QI to Unrestricted and then transfer to other batch.

Thank you for your response,
but i can not really follow you.
What i have is:
Batch 1 Batch 2
Unrestricted: 0 Unrestricted: 0
QI: 1000 QI: 0
Restricted: 0 Restricted: 0
What i want to achieve is the following:
Batch 1 Batch 2
Unrestricted: 0 Unrestricted: 0
QI: 0 QI: 1000
Restricted: 0 Restricted: 0
Any idea about that?
Thank you ver much

Hi Daniel,
As your materials are batch managed, you need to use movt type-309 to transfer stocks between batches.
Whereas, Sujit was mentioning that you can not transfer stock from QI to QI directly; what needed in your case. Either follow as below:
- Use Movement Type (Search in MB1B screen) to move stock from QI to Unrestricted Use in Batch1.
- Then use movt type-309 (MB1B) to transfer stock from Batch1 to Batch2
- Again use MB1B and use movement type to move stock from Unrestricted Use to QI in Batch2.
Hope this is clear.

Anup
Hi Daniel,
Please try with 323 moment type for QI stock transfer for with in stloc level or plant with respective to batch,
By using T.code: BMCHCL, you can convert the batch class also,
After converting the batches the sender batch will disappear.
