Copy characteristic values from Sales Order to PO and PR

Dear Experts,

One of our Client is having Variant Configuration for materials.

When they are making a Sales Order they enter the Values for the material characteristic for each item.

Now for this Sales Order they are making PO and PR, but here they are entering the values for characteristics again.

We need to configure the system so that the Values form SO are directly copied to PO/PR.

Item Category is TAC instead of TAS.

PLease help me with your Valuable inputs.

Hi,

When automatic PR created then only material & qty and other purchase information is copied to PR, but not characteristics.

So need to find out user exit in Purchasing where you have to write logic to bring characteristic values and put in PR.
