SRM and SUS in Single Client

Hi All,

Can the SRM and the SUS system be used in the same client?

If yes, is PI still required for collaboration process.

Please let me know the configuration steps that will need to be followed for having SRM and SUS on the same client.

Thanks,

VIngesh

Hi,

yes PI is still mandatory when sending/receiving Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Confirmations.

Customising settings:

1. Do the configuration for SUS under SPRO->SAP SRM->Supplier self services->Master data->make settings for Business partners.

2. Maintain number ranges for the sus documents/transaction types

3. In SPRO->SAP SRM->SRM server->Technical Basic Settings->Define system landscape set the logical system for srm to system type EBP_SUS (one client ebp + sus).

4. In the WEB interface (role srm administrator) set the checkbox in the vendor bp for 'portal vendor', this will officially create a sus partner role for this vendor. If that doesn't work use transaction BBP_SP_SUPP_INI to 'send' the vendor to SUS.

5. Replicate the companies that are going to communicate with SUS to SUS as well using BBP_SP_COMP_INI (also send the employees for these companies as maybe you will get an error to enter a delivery address in SUS).

6. Depending on your support pack level, implement note 1671555 if you get some strange partner errors. It's about SUS invoice, but works for SUS po as well

7. Give the PI appl user the correct authorisation (or sap_all for testing purposes)

Regards,

Robin

Hi VIngesh,

PI is required in all cases. You can have SUS in the same client as SRM but it is not recommended for a production environment only for demo purposes. Please see note 573383 for more details on this.
