Hi,
Our basis have installed SAP sourcing 7.0 system and provided us with system user and password with which we are able to login. Using the system user, we have configured cluster, internal directory and external directory. Through tenant configuration we have created a context as per the configuration guide.
Now to configure master data, document types and to create supplier and buyer side users, as we know, we need to login through enterprise user. When we login with enterprise user and manager as password and even enterprise user and enterprise as password, it says "Entry does not exist."
Please guide to suggest if we are missing something here.
We assume that the Enterprise user must be automatically created when sourcing system is installed. True?
Expert advise is welcome at the earliest
Thanks.
Tejas
Hi Tejas,
Have you created Enterprise context? Creating Enterprise context is the key step in the sourcing system setup.
Help:
Follow the steps mentioned in the installation/config guide at https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/support
See page 69. Follow the steps sequentially as mentioned in the guide
If the enterprise context has created. Please follow below steps to reset enterprise id.
1. Login to system ID
2. Click on enterprise context.select your enterprise context
3. Reset the system admin password mentioned there. This would be your enterprise user password.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Jagadish.
We have created enterprise context through Tenant Configuration as mentioned in the SAP Sourcing 7.0 configuration guide.
One doubt is, what should be the user id of an enterprise user? should it be enterprise or something else?
If we have to use enterprise as the user name and password as mentioned by you in the reply above, that one is not working. Even after resetting the password as mentioned about I am getting the same error.
Is there anything that basis needs to do at the time of installation to ensure enterprise user is created and available for configuration activities?
A point that we have noticed is, when we login through system user, we are able to see just one tab called setup. There is no other tab(document setup, system administrator, master data etc) in system user login. Is it fine behavior?
Another thing, in the installation/configuration guide that we have, there are less than 69 pages
If you have a document that you are referring to, can you please share it with me at tejandtejas@gmail.com? I will appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your patience and support.
Tejas.
Resolved.
The issue was with wrong assignment of system default cluster with enterprise context. we had assigned non default (another) cluster to enterprise context, that is why were not able to login as enterprise user.
Thanks to those who have answered OR even read and not answered
Cheers...
