Packing: is it possible to make packing with two POP For single line item

Hi

  we have the requirement for packing using two POP for single line item.

is it possible ?

for example material xx and 100 qty, with single carton ( jumbo box) for 80 qty and remaining qty 20 for 2 small carton .

because 20 qty is not necessary for packing jumbo carton. so keeping the material in small carton..

It is not possible  as you defined packing instructions for 80 jumbo box ,if system is packing remaining 20 qty then system automatically packs partial qty 20 in jumbo box.

In this case you need to pack manually in small cartonn while processing deliveries.

Hi Sridhar,

user requirement is,  for same material in the delivery doc user select the packing instruction for partial qty and remaining qty for select the second alternative packing instruction.

i activated the selection packing instruction indicator in the packing transaction profile ( t code ovhu2 ).

but system is not appear the packing instruction during packing process..

what i do for configuration
