Dear friends,

When we restart HDB(version 1.00.36) on Linux OS, it failed with the following error in nameserver tracefile:

Who knows what reason may cause this issue?

Maggie:

Check with your OS admin to  make sure that you have enough disk space on all disk volumes. Also, request OS admin to confirm that no authorization changed recently.

Thanks for your advice.

There's enough disk space on disk volumes.

As for no authorization changed on OS, some days ago, customer restarted his OS without stopping HDB firstly. Maybe such behavior is related to this restart issue.

Ask you HANA admin to stop all HANA services and restart HANA. This might help restore normal HANA services.

If that does not work, please open an SAP customer message.
