        i know what is the use of order reason but in OVF3 T.CODE We can assign sales area and cost centre and order reason

Dear Venu,

It is useful to capture the revenue cost centre wise, In our company we are using this setting to capture the revenue as per the cost centre for internal reporting purpose even though this setting made the actual revenue value in GL only (VKOA)

you may keep it simply blank - no records.

It depends upon the client requirement if he needed we can maintain it, if not no need to maintain it is optional. If user asking he want to see the reports cost centre wise you can activate this

Configuration part:

IMG-SD-BF-ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT/COSTING-ASSIGN COST CENTRES OR

T.CODE:OVF3

Sales organization+Distribution channel+Divisin+Order Reason=Cost Centre

End user part:

If you want to see cost centre wise revenue you have to maintain it in VA01 - sale order, maintain order reason as shown in screen shot
