Data import from MSSSQL to SAP HANA

I am new to SAP HANA. how can i import data into HANA system either from MSSQL server, excel or any other sources other than SAP ECC systems. how can i achieve this.

Hi Srinivasa,

1. Excel - You could use the Import functionality on HANA Studio to upload excel files - http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-27960 or import it via SQL commands if you have placed the file in the HANA server - http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/inmemory/Importing+CSV+files+into+SAP+HANA

2. From MSSQL or non-SAP sources - you can either use SAP SLT (supports most DBs) or Business Objects data services (BODS - supports almost any source systems) to achieve this
