System automatically logs off

Hi all,

I have observed that when I am working on SAP GUI after sometime it automatically logs off. I also came to know that the parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout is set to maximum allowed.

What should I do! (I am not a basis guy).

Hi Bharat,

The parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout should only work with inactive

sessions. Does the user know if any other error message appeared before

being logged out?

Also, check your network availability? May be they are not logged of from system, by system, but disconnected due to network problem.

To figure it out, it is possible to check SM21 log and also you can open a Secuirty Trace via SM19 and check it via SM20 whether system is kicking them out, or not.

Did you get a change to check what is meant by maximum. Please run tcode RZ11 and check the value of the parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout.

Also when it is automatically logging you out does it give you any message ?
