Greetings,
we have a webportal calling a BAPI exposed as a WS through SENDER AGREEMENT. All is intranet so no access to PI from the internet.
Every time portal is calling the webservice, a logon is required - which is not good enough. How do we allow the webportal to logon via the webservice (parameters?) or is there a simpler/better approach.
Could someone help with the steps please. I have no knowledge in setting up certificates so please help with steps if this is the way to do it.
Cheers and your help is appreciated and will be rewarded
Pi is not the tool for UI centric integration ... It is designed to cater for Application to Application or Business to Business integration.
In your case I would use one of the following tools:
-Jco (RFC)
-JCA compliant SAP Resource Adapter (RFC)
-SAP NW Gateway (REST and OData)
For further details there is a lot of stuff out there on SDN.
