How do we restrict remove fields from display columns in alv settings column selection tab

Hi Guys,

In ALV i am displaying 20 fields.

i want to restrict user to remove some fields from displayed columns tab in settings---column selection tab.

is it possible? can help me

Hi Sudhakar,

You cant remove the field from output ALV report. You can hide the fields which is not required for the users in the change layout and save layout options.

Just check and let me know.

Thanks for your quick response.

Actually the requirement is after displaying data in ALV,

user can will click on SETTINGS then COLUMN SELECTION tab is displayed.

there i want to restrict user to REMOVE  some fields ( mandatory fields in the table) from displayed columns to removed columns. how to get that?
