Hi,
I have created a search plugin for Firefox. The files can be downloaded from http://www.hariraj.com/Firefox.SAPSDN_SearchPlugin.zip
Unzip the files to your "<<Firefox install dir>>\searchplugins" directory.
I have tested the plugin with Firefox 1.0.1
If someone has problems with other versions please let me know.
Regards,
Hari
Hi, nice stuff. I see in the source that you limit the search to the forums. Wouldn't it be nice to extend it to the new search engine (and enelbe a global search)?

ok...now I see the new SDN search engine thanks for the link. Yes it will nice to use the new feature.
Unfortunately it uses the query text embedded in the "content" parameter, I couldn't find a way to embed the string in a search plugin.
I will have a look at it and keep the post updated.

Hi,
I created a sherlock plugin for firefox few weeks ago. No time to upload it up to now. It supports the new Search and it's always searching all SDN areas.
The <interpret> Part is not implemented, so Sidebar with single search results is not supported.
I couldn't download Hirirajs plugin? File was not found. Maybe there are some parts we can aggregate.
My version will be available on SDN Download in a few days. I'll inform you.
Regards,
Tim
Hi Hari,
it searches all of SDN and displays the full navigation. In the moment there are several submission of SDN Search plugins. They are consolidated and published in the moment.
Some extra information from my colleague Markus Riedinger:

Hi Tim & Eddy,
Nice hack
The only thing I miss now is the way to see "only" the results from Weblog or forums and so on, in an easy way. I have to refine the search and submit a new request.
It will be good if there is a summary of result groups like in www.answers.com and I can directly see the results say for e.g. in 'forums'.
BTW I have also noticed I couldn't submit a search query from Firefox...getting an javascript:void(0) error.

Hari
Hi Wolfgang,
The new SDN search can be found here https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/etc/sdnsystemdocs/sdnsearc...
