Deadline Monitoring Application Controlled Workflow in SRM 7.01

Hello Gurus,

I have a question: is deadline monitoring with events(WF_APPR_LATEST_START and WF_APPR_REQUESTED_END) also with application controlled workflow possible? We use n-step badi and we would like to activate notifications and alerts.

Hi Ralph,

Deadline monitoring with events is not applicable to AC WFL.

For AC WFL you can trigger alerts by setting deadlines directly on the tasks and using the

SWWDHEX  deadline job. The deadline text is taken from the work item. The work item text is maintained in the step of the workflow in the builder (Transaction SWDD). The recipients are also maintained in the step.
