ITS Upgrade

Hello All,

I need to upgrade my ITS patch from 04 to 20. Can somebody let me know the procedure? Or more specifically if I have WGate and AGate installed on two different hosts, do I need to run the upgrade installer on both the hosts or only on AGate host?

Hi Fahad,

when you start the installer of the new patch the first dialog asks you if you want to update your instance (or install another instance etc.). From this point on the update is rather quiet and you settings will be preserved.

Anyway you have to update all hosts in you landscape since we don't guarantee AGate and WGate of different patches to work together.

Hello Fahad,

For the external ITS 6.20 the upgrade procedure is very similar to the new installation procedure. You should run the upgrade on both the WGate and AGate hosts.
