Hi Experts,

Our client asking to delete the inspection plans from data base level, as they have created many group counters by material assignment method.

Now they have realized that there are many Inspection plans have been generated unknowingly with many group counters.

How can we carry the deletion process from the data base level. We want to optimize the Inspection plans to only max3 group counters from current 30 group counter for each material.

Please guide us how to proceed.

Thanks in advance.

1) Set deletion flag using CWBQM(or QP02) transaction

2) Delete online without archiving using QSR6 transaction

Then the task list will be removed from database.

Dear Anup / Sujit / Shailendra,

We have checked the Inspection Plan deletion process with t codes / programs CWBQM, RQPREDE2. We are able to delete the data s from Inspection plan from Material assignment option. But not from the data base level. When we newly create the inspection plan by material assignment, group counter number is following its previous sequence. e.g. though the group counter up to 03 deleted, new group counter is getting generated from 04. We are expecting from 01 group counter when we would create the new inspection plan by material assignment.

Please guide us.

Thanks for valuable suggestions.

You can't delete then off without archiving them.  As you saw, the RQPREDE2 only removes the assignments from the DB and not the plan headers or operations.

Why not just reuse them if you want the numbers?  I.e. just make the necessary edits to the inspection plan to make it usable?

Hi Raj,

You can use Tcode- CWBQM to mass deletion/archiving of inspection plans from SAP system.
