Serial Numbers not getting generated for Packaging material after Inbound

Hi All ,

I am  performing following steps :

1. Creating Purchase Order

2. Creating Inbound delivery against the PO

3. Inbound delivery is having a material and I am packing it with a Packaging material

4. Assigning Serial numbers to Packaging material

5. Click on button Post Goods Receipt

6. PGR is done and stock is updated in MMBE

7. But when I check for Serial number (MMBE->Environment->Eqipment/Serial No.) , it does not gets available here .

Please let me know if I need to clarify more on it.

Just to add on point 6 & 7 . Stock is updated for Packaging material and Serial Number for Packaging material is not available.

Hi,

  Are you assigning serial numbers in HU ? try that.

Check whether OSS Note 491680 - MB0A/MIGO: GR for inbound delivery with serial numbers applies to your SAP version.
