How to transfer cost VPRS of sub item to main item in SD BOM Sale order process

Dear Expertd

I am testing scenario in my DEV server but Im stuck at one point.

I have 3 materials, Material A, B and C.

A = Main Item (Sale Price will be maintained for this material. Non stock material and billing relevance material)

B = Semi Finish Material (Stock Item, This will be issued in PGI but will not be invoiced in billing document)

C = Semi Finish Material (Stock Item, This will be issued in PGI but will not be invoiced in billing document)

Cost price of B and C will be transfered to A in VF01 so that it can be reflected in COPA.

Sale Price will be maintained for material A and it will be copied from delivery to billing.

Everything is working fine in my testing except transfering cost of sub items to main item in BOM explosion. I have used TAP as main item and LUMF item category group and created ZTAP for sub items which are not billing relevant but they are stock item. In VTFL I have ticked the cumulate cost button.

What else am I missing? Is there something neccessasry to check in material masters of main and Sub items?

This is basically Split air conditioner sale process.

Material A is Dummy material used for AC 1 Ton

Material B is valuated stock material for Indoor Unit Produced at our plant

Material C is valuated stock material for Outdoor Unit Produced at our plant

If there is some better solution or option for this please share.

Updated as of Aug/2020 SAP Note 352441 states need of correction (user-exit) to properly accumulate cost into main item.
