SCM5.0 IDES harddisk space

Hi,

We need to install SCM5.0 IDES , but not sure howmuch Harddisk space it will take.In service market place i can not find IDES release space.

Can any one suggest how much harddisk it will take for to install SCM5.0 IDES , so that we will suggest to client.

Also what is the difference between SCM and APO?

With AS ABAP only it takes 80GB for database.

SCM is planning process in Business.

The mySAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) solution is divided into the

following areas:

1.Supply Chain Planning,

2.Supply Chain Execution,

3.Supply Chain Coordination and

4.Supply Chain Collaboration.

<b>In particular, the area of Supply Chain Planning includes Demand Planning,

(cross-plant) distribution planning and procurement planning, detailed production

planning down to operation level. You can execute these functions in SAP ERP

Central Component (ECC) and SAP R/3 or in SAP APO in the APO DP, APO

SNP and APO PP/DS components.</b>

In particular, Supply Chain Execution contains planning execution as part of

manufacturing. Materials Management also falls into this area. The mySAP ERP

Central Component (ECC) or SAP R/3 play a significant role in these functions.

Supply Chain Coordination is a key area of the mySAP SCM solution and is

composed of Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) and Supply Chain

Performance Management (SCPM).

Regarding Disk space ,I am not clear but it should be more 150 GB Minimum will be safe bet.
