Hello Experts,

We are doing Het. System copy:

Source - SAP R/3 4.7 E2 ; OS - AIX 5.3 ; DB - Oracle 9.2.0.8

Target (New Installation) - SAP R/3 4.7 E2 ; OS - RHEL5.6 ; DB - oracle

11.2.0.3

During Import - Database Load phase we are getting below error:

MSC-01004 Could not create task file /sapcd/47Import/SAPVIEW.TSK

Information:

We are using latest version of R3* files on target.

Export Dump is placed locally on the target Disk.

checked permissions of all files & folders.

resetted Import & started all over again - still the same error.

Kindly advice any possible solution for this problem.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Sachin,

Are you able to create "/sapcd/47Import/SAPVIEW.TSK" manually?

Could you paste "sapinst.log", here? Additionally, check the "SAPVIEW.TSK" is exist at the OS level.

Hello Orkun,

sapinst.log is attached to this message.

It (SAPVIEW.TSK) does not exist, but when I run :

/sapmnt/RD2/exe/R3load  -ctf I "/sapmnt/RD2/EXPORTRI1/DATA/SAPVIEW.STR" "/sapcd/47DBImport/DDLORA.TPL" "/sapcd/47DBImport/SAPVIEW.TSK" ORA -l "/sapcd/47DBImport/SAPVIEW.log" -o D

it creates this file at "/sapcd/47DBImport/SAPVIEW.TSK.

but still installation retry fails with the same error.

any other options?

Best Regards
