Solution Manager 7.1 Message Creation: Authorization

Hi Guys

I'm unable to create a message via the workcenter (URL). I get the error message: "You are not authorized to create a message for the this System or Client"  . The user has the role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE assigned to him. He exists in Solution Manager. I get the same problem when selecting one of the managed systems.

Any ideas?

Hi,

 

Please make sure the user has the following roles:

SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE

SAP_SUPPCF_CREATE

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC

SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN

Also check if CRM001 External System Identifier assigned in the Identification tab of BP(Business Partner).

ALso check if IBase is generated correctly or not.

Thanks for replying. The roles were assigned, and the  Identification is defined correctly as well, and so is the IBase.

Hi,

Please implement note 1728064.

If you still having an issue can you try creating message from managed system using Help --> create support mesage just for testing.

Also what version of 7.1 are you on?
