Availability Check in Sales Order

Dear Expert,

I have problem in availability check.

Actually i have sales order and doing availability check for material and in the avaialbility screen confirm quantity is showing only free stock.

I mean if some stock is available and attached with sales order and item this stock not showing in Confirm Quantity field under Availability screen.

Issue:

Sales Order # 10001

Line Item # 10

Quantity # 3

Special Stock Avaialble for Sales Order # 10001 and Line Item # 10

it is showing in MMBE as Sales Order Stock # 3 under Unrestricted

But while doing Availability Check for Sales Order # 10001 and Line Item # 10

the Default Confirm Quantity is showing as Blank, why it is not showing any quantity here?

If i put manually as Quantity # 3 it is accpeting.

My concern is instead entering it should show me the sales order stock.

I hope the above explanation is well understable. PLEASE HELP in THIS REGARD.

Hi Nitin,

I think, you are delivering SO in MTO scenario.

Go to MMBE check stock. If stock is allocated against SO# 10001, the same will get captured in VL01N screen.If not check against which SO it got allocated then in this case you have to De-allocate from other SO & allocate to your SO i.e. 10001.

Use of movement type 411 E / 412 E for allocation & De-allocation purpose.

Hi,

Check above stock is not reserved and or confirmed for any other sales order if it is then it will not confirm in new/current sales order.

If already confirmed then do back order processing remove from old sales order reserved and or confirmed stock
