Warning in ITSM setup

Former Member

Hi,

I'm using SOLMAN_SETUP to configure ITSM.

I've completed 3 steps, but I can't access the 4th - "Configure Landscape".

I'm getting a warning "No Scope selected for the Configure Landscape", which prevents me from accessing this step.

Display help shows the following:

No Scope selected for the Configure Landscape

Message no. SISE_CONF265

Diagnosis

The Step Configure Landscape is Scope Definition dependent, but there is no Scope selected for the current session.

System Response

The navigation to the step Configure Landscape is blocked until the Scope Definition is set.

Procedure

Go To step Scope &V2& Definition and set the Scope value for the current session.

But I can't find step "Scoep Definition" anywhere in SOLMAN_SETUP. Where is this step located?

Can you please help me?

Best regards,

Nerijus.

Could you solve this issue?

Hi Dany,

Extended Id of my solution manager was different in solman_setup transaction and in LMDB.

There was need to change below two things in Solman:

  1. Change the extended ID .
  2. Set GUID for system solman on working client  in LMDB with a report.

   Report name -  RLMDB_RESTORE_GUID

Thanks

Hi,

please do the step Define scope, it will be under technical monitoring,

solman_setup->Technical monitoring -> system monitoring -> in 4. Define scope

it is nothing but selecting the system or scenario for your configuration,

Please check

Thanks

That did not help.

I wrote to SAP and they have created this note which fixed the issue: 1755218

This is only relevant for SPS 06.
