SAP EP Migration - problems with TMKSVR

Hi,

I'm starting an EP migration (version 6.40) to a windows/SQL machine.

I ran, however, into problems on the first steps, when trying to install TMKSVR on the iSeries machine.

Here's what I did so far:

1. confirmed that an FTP Server is running on the iSeries machine

2. created a user called "sapinst" on the iSeries machine and on the Windows machine with the same password (both local administrators)

3. mapped a network drive on windows to \\iSeries_host\rootbin

4. copied the "Installation Master" DVD to a folder on the iSeries machine

5. executed the setup.exe on the TMKSVR folder of the DVD previously copied

So far, so good... But after pressing the "Start install" button, I get this error:

Any ideas?

OK, problem "solved"...

the windows machine is virtual on HyperV and this is a network problem between the HyperV environment and the iSeries machine.

From my laptop the process works fine...
