Interactive Form is taking the time to activate

Hi All,

Its taking 3-5 minutes to activate an interactive form in ECC6.0. I have developed 3 forms out of which 2 are doing good, but one form is having this issue.

This particular form has more elements though! but still I believe it shouldn't take ~4 mins for activation & 3 minutes to open the form when the other two forms take ~20 seconds!!!

I have followed all the guidelines in this document, but still no success

I found few threads talking this issue but I didn't find solution for this. Please help if any of you did face this issue earlier.

Hi Prathap,

The time effort is possibly due to network traffic instead of activation.

Maybe your form is too large (XML-file)?
Or you have embedded some large images/photos in BMP-format?

Thanks Tao Lin for your reply.

I donot have images on my form. Its a simple interactive form having 30 text boxes with value helps and few check boxes. My other forms also have around 20 Text boxes.

But I have put-in more javascript validations on this form as this is very dynamic based on user roles.

Hi Prathap,

You can narrow the problem by trying to deactivate all scripts and see how long it takes to activate the form.
