Minisap NW2004s SP08 does not install Maxdb!

Hi,

I unistall a preview version of minisap (removing all the diretories, the installation of maxdb in the control panel and the sap registries using the RegCleanTool), and now I´m trying to install the new NW 2004s with SP08 but it is not installing the Maxdb, the installation process works fine, it asked me the Maxdb password and the sap directory. When installation finished sucessfully the directory of maxdb (c:sapdb) was not created! Only the sap directory is created (c:sap). I´m using XP professional. Can you help me with this problem?

Hi Markus,

have you deinstall the MaxDB software with SDBUNINST as described in the note 599129? It looks like something from the database is still on the server. Could you please open the OSS message for this problem?

Hi OKsana, thanks for your help, but the problem was this directory:

c:Program FilesCommon FilesInstallShieldUniversalSAP

I removed it and it´s fine now.
